As a Swiss e-bike pioneer, we at FLYER develop our own drive systems, which we call FIT – FLYER Intelligent Technology. FIT networks key bicycle components and optimises their interaction. E-bikes with FIT off an impressive level of ride comfort and operating convenience. And with smart additional functions, FIT makes riding your FLYER even more fun. In this video we explain how to operate a FLYER e-bike with FIT. To switch the e-bike on and off, press the button in the middle of the FIT display for at least one second. Wait briefly until the system has started up and the FLYER logo disappears. Operation is via the FIT remote. You can also operate it conveniently with your thumb while riding. Use the large buttons to select the desired assistance level. There are five modes to choose from.: Off, Eco, Standard, Auto and High. The most powerful assistance level is High, providing you with 300 per cent assistance. The selected assistance level is clearly visible on the display. In Auto mode, the assistance level varies depending on your own pedalling performance. The harder you pedal, the more assistance the motor provides. The three-and-a-half inch FIT D1 display is your on-board computer and displays all important riding information. The information is displayed in different views. Move the joystick left or right to switch between the individual views on the display. Four display views are available. All displays show the time, the current speed and the selected assistance level. Drive shows the most important information such as current speed, remaining range and battery level. Info provides details of the distance travelled, route distance, average speed and maximum speed. You can reset these in the settings menu. In addition, Info shows you the e-bike’s total mileage. Fitness shows you details of your sporting performance, such as your own current power output in watts, current pedal frequency, pure riding time and energy consumption in kilocalories. In Data you will find environmental parameters such as current altitude above sea level, current gradient in percent, elevation gain in metres and outside temperature. Navi shows you turning instructions from the komoot app if you have paired your e-bike with a smartphone. You can find out more about this in the separate video FIT and komoot Navigation. The settings menu is accessed by moving the joystick all the way to the right. For safety reasons, the settings menu can only be accessed when the bike is at a standstill. With the exception of e-mountainbikes, all FLYER e-bikes have their lights switched on by default. On an e-bike with assistance up to 45 km/h, it is possible to switch between low and high beam by pressing the light button. The light is switched off by pressing and holding down the light button. FLYER e-bikes with FIT have a built-in pushing aid for convenient pushing of the e-bike. To activate this, press the large minus button several times until the symbol for the pushing aid appears. You can now activate the pushing aid by holding down the minus button. We wish you lots of fun and great rides on your FLYER e-bike with FIT.
