I try to get involved with many things all the time. I like to try a bit of sports, a bit of artistry, a bit of music. I try to travel a lot. I do not like to sit still. And that is what got me into the petroleum industry in the first place. Right now, I am doing an exchange semester at The Technical University of Norway, NTNU. The academic level here is really high. They have a great selection and the professors are brilliant. So much good research comes out of this institute as well. And the NTNU is just one of the best around. DTU is a lovely place to be. The degree itself is rather new, so I came here to try to challenge myself and learn something new that I can bring back home and help the education at DTU get even better. You also get introduced to different people, and different mentalities, and different ways into the industry by going abroad. I think it is essential for your growth as both a person and an academic. My end goal is – it sounds so cliché, but – to be happy. And for me being happy involves doing new things, learning new things, and being challenged. For me it is just a matter of doing it better and cleaner than it is now. And if that ends up being the result, I will be happy. I do not expect to find the Holy Grail, but I hope to get a step closer.
